Thanks guys. I'm not in a hurry to spend more money just yet.
I'm going to do more home work first.
Everyone that is running the Andrews 48 gives it high praise. And the descriptions of how they ride matches my own goals. So I'm pretty much sold on that package.

My second choice is the SE255s because its backed by the motor company and I can just get the stage 2 down-load and forgo the costly tunner. I can get a pretty good discount, 25% off the SE 255s if I go this route. Got a friend that works for a HD dealer. Said he wouldn't charge me for the download. Still have time to think it over.

I don't see any point in changing the jugs and pistons for bigger displacement just yet. The motor has less then 5000 miles on it. I would like to use up the stock stuff up first.

As long as you are doing your homework / research, take a look at this website ... has some very good basic info ... http://www.harley-riders-guide.com/h...dson-cams.html

I am running a set of Andrews TW37B and have been quite pleased ... if I was doing it over again, now ... I would have to take a look at the Andrews 48 ....

Andrews itself is stating the 48H is for Baggers.

True enough, but cam manufacturers make assumptions. Namely, that if you have a bagger, you only want low to mid rpm torque, and if you ride a dyna you want mid to high rpm HP. The Andrews site also says this about the 48H: MAX TORQUE at Low and Mid R.P.M.'s So if that's what you want, go for it regardless of bike type.

True enough. A lot of people ride 2-up a lot, too.

I don't.

Cool. That's my point, match the cam to your riding style, not the other way around.

Enjoy the ride

Thanks for the links Guys. Plenty of good resources. I'm learning more and more everyday. Good write up on doing the pulley swap. More and more to consider.
My friend was looking for info on the 48 and couldn't find it. Guess its fairly new to the Andrews line-up. At least now I have the stats for their product line, including the 48.
