I've got the easy brackets and some bags I got at J&P. Carol Leather if I remember right. Easy brackets work great, but mine do rattle too, but I found that a case of beer in each bag reduces the rattling. As the beer gets consumed and the empties placed back in the bags, the rattling starts again.
I think I overpaid for these bags, even considering the customization. It'd be interesting to compare the quality of workmanship and materials on bags from different manufacturers. Yours look damned nice though, so I doubt there's a difference in quality. Did your price include installation?
It's good that yours don't rattle. Some do, some don't. Anyone who wants to read the manufacturer's recommended process for curing the rattle can look here. https://www.hdforums.com/m_730387/tm.htm
Everyone, thanks for all the good information. I did some more research and there is a Leatherworks shop fairly close to me that I am going to go check out.
I have a set of Fox Creek bags and am very happy with them. The pair I have are the smaller ones, are throw over, and have a zipper on both sides of the yoke. For installation all I did was to take them out of the box, pull the seat off, place them on and put the seat back over (no turn signal relocation required). They don't rub on anything, zip on/off very easily and work with my quick detachable sissy bar. The quality of the leather is exceptional and I believe I paid $329.00 for them.
