Bell Custom 500
Just received my Custom 500 and had to post this. I am 64 years old and been riding motorcycles since I was 14. Back in the day I owned several of these over the years, but they were just helmets. I have been riding with a non DOT since the early nineties, but a few guys in my area have received tickets lately so I ordered this. This Helmet is awesome. Just wanted to share.

Helmet laws are just a way for local government to raise money though fines.
We have red light cameras, road blocks with cops peeping in cars for people wearing seat belts. What a flipping joke. I got busted last week for that one. Told the cop I don't wear one when I ride my bike so whats the difference?
I want to see them start busting idots texting and driving if they are so concerned with our safety!

I don't wear my Skid Lid helmet anymore since buying the matte black Bell Custom 500. I like it a lot.

Yes sir, they are nice helmets. I have the orange flake one. It's a huge adjustment switching from a novelty one but thats one less ticket I have to worry about.
