Thanks all for the warm welcome and kind words about the bike. As you know, they are a labor of love and it's good when your peers think they look good.
JaysonL- The bars feel great. Originally ordered the Wild One low profile drag bars, but they came within a quarter inch of my speedometer, and the pullback was way too much for me to be comfortable. These sit somewhere between those and the stock ape hangers. I've done a couple hundred miles since I got them on, and they feel just fine so far. Will do a long ride on Friday, and that should be the final test.
dav.elis - That's the sissy bar that came on the '05. It's the low. The part number is 52909-02.
