you get them at the harley dealership. they run somewhere between 50 and 70 bucks if memory serves me correctly. I picked up my manual the day i picked up my bike.

depends on how quick you want it, if not in a hurry you can
watch the classifieds here and on the other HD sites, they turn up all
the time for around $35 shipped.... just bought a 2012 set on
another site for mine...
A factory SM is a given for anyone who does their own work. A great additional factory manual is the Parts manual. Detailed illustrations of system parts/pieces and their H-D part numbers. I refer to it often and it paid for itself, as did the SM, quickly. Both are a smart investment. Then there is the Electrical Diagnostic manual for the H-D manual tri-fecta. (I bought all on eBay)
