Harley must be making an entire run of Blue Fat Bobs with ABS/Security, mine is scheduled to arrive in mid Feb.

Never road a bike with abs, and i cant really see its advantage... I guess it wouldnt lock the tires on hard braking. But i've never locked my tires on my street bob. Plus the fatbob has dual front brakes, so it will stop better than my street bob. And my street bob stops on a dime, so i cant really see a need for abs. But im sure when that time arises where i need abs, i would wish i had it... So in all, i say you dont "need" abs.

And the fatbob would be a great compliment to the duc...

Take as many different ones out as you can then pick the one that fits you the best. Fatbob's are great bikes.

I would wait for the blue one with ABS. I locked my Street Glide up just the other day when a guy on a bicycle was on the wrong side of the road when I pulled out of a parking lot. It slid and I did not like that feeling.

After riding the duck the first thing your going to find out is how easy it is to drag parts. Changing the low exhaust and adding some longer quality shocks really help from scaring the **** out of the ol. I went with 12.5" progressive 970's. The difference in handling is like night and day. I don't sacrifice ride quality for looks.

Best advice I've read here so far is "ride them all" then have a long "sit down" with your self and figure out what you exspect to do with it. You know,....Tour, Commute, Local riding....that stuff....

I bought an '06 Super Glide, and spent more money than I care to admit getting it the way I like it. And as much as I like it, (don't plan on ever letting it go), if I knew then what I know now, I'd be riding a Road King Classic. Plan on getting one soon, but I'll keep the Super Glide. It's just too darn much fun!

Hope This helps

Best wishes....Tim(HT)

I looked for 3 months. Did a lot of test rides. My brother has a Road King I had it for a day of riding. I like the Dyna the best and ended geting a Street Bob. I made a 3 hour to get my SB because I saved $2000. Pick out the bike you want and shop around. I love my SB.

I have to agree... before I chose the FLD I made numorous trips to the dealers and tried different bikes out. I was looking at 4 different bikes... The Blackline, Wide Glide, Switchback and the Fatboy. road all them but fell in love with what I chose
