anything can be done...."You can milk anything with nipples...." - Meet the Parents
Haven't seen it done yet, but not sure how functional they would be. If you had the narrow front end they would be more visible I think around the fork tubes, much less so I think with the wide glide front.
I relocated my front TS to the fork tubes with a set of chrome clamps made for the purpose. If put on the frame tubes, I'd think they would be 'in the way'. Also relocated the rear TS to license plate frame.
Hey Napoli, search around in the archives there are posts about putting the turn signals down on the frame right next to, or in between the froward controls of the Dyna (yes it looks good too) with the use of an L-bracket and some longer bolts from the hardware store.
I thought I had that thread book-marked, but I can't find it right off the top. I'll give a look see a little later today to see if I can find it, or maybe someone will chime in and post the thread.
At first I didn't like them up top so I relocated them to the forks. For some reason the right one vibrated like a sumbitch at certain speeds. Thought it would eventually work harden the metal and snap one day so I moved them back to original. I'm not wild about the big-*** amber lights but then, night riding, crappy northwest weather, people on cell phones, lousy drivers, etc........I figure I need all the visibility I can get.
