Arlen Ness made em for a long time..but not sure if he still does. His were clean too, not too pointy, not too outlandish.
Do you have a picture of those or a link ?
Man, each time I read youre name I laugh (no offence) I read shitface everysingle time hahaha. Sweet looking ride tho !
Kind of like the t-shirt Dig Bick
I like the "skid plate" spoiler. A buddy is going to help me fab one this weekend. I like the concept of the mid control mounting point, and the lower protection it provides. I will be extending it forward quite a bit and hide my air horn behind it. Then off to be black anodized with some other aluminum parts I've fab'd.
I got the HD lip, and had a Nessy one on my FXR. Question is whether they work as a spoiler or not. I think not, I don't notice any difference. Perhaps you get somewhat better engine cooling out of it, but don't know that either. And they certainly dont work as skid plates.
What do you think - are these things purely cosmetic?
my bike had one when i got it. It's for sale to anyone who wants it. Fit on my '02 fxd. Matte black plastic, easily paintable.
I'll take it off your hands. Sent you a pm.
Malaysia sportster - if you want it for a sportster I'm not sure it will fit. I think they are different for dynas
Have been thinking it would be nice to have a smallish, lockable chin spoiler in which I could store my tool kit (keep the weight low). Most of the spoilers shown I find unattractive, especially the Corbin! There is a certain shape that looks right, like one of the molded ones. But it has to blend into the bike's natural lines for it to look right, not stick out like a knot on a tree, the way the '09 Fatbob accessory appears.
I"ll tell you one thing,I ordered my HD spoiler out of the parts book, not really seeing what they looked like on a bike, after the install I looked at the wife with a funny face,I was sure it was'nt going to stay on and I wasted 200.00 bucks, but after a while it did'nt seem out of place at all and when both our bikes are side by side the spoiler looks like it belongs on there,it does'nt stick out like a sore thumb sort a speak.

I have not seen a spoiler like this. I would also get one that has small storage that's lockable. Someone should make these. My only complaint about most of the spoilers: they are not able to be used while having an engine guard.
