I think it's more abou your inseam, rather than overall height. I'm 6'0" but have a short inseam, and monkey arms. I can just barely sit flat footed on my FXDC with the stock seat.
Try the 1" lowering shocks for the rear, and the lowering kit for the front combined with the seat, should put you in the sweet spot.
I've heard rumors that 2010 and up Dyna shocks are about 1" shorter than pre 2010 shocks, but I don't know how true that is, I'll let someone else chime in on that one.
Youll be fine on a SG i would bet... Im 5'8" but I am all waist with wicked short legs lol.. maybe a 28" inseam. Me and my 5'0" ex-OL are the same height from the waist down lol.
Just to help out there,
I am 5'-3" (vertically challenged) a barebones will help a bunch but you may want to think of
a lowering kit also, I have an 05 Lowrider with a Drag specialties seat (narrower then stock) and my rear shocks are progressive and 1 inch lower then stock.
