can anyone tell me the bolt size/pitch etc for the bolts that hold the fender to the rear struts on the 2010 fxdwg?

Should be 3/8" x 16 thread.
FYI a parts manual gives you bolt sizes

 

TORX SCREW, 3/8-16 X 1 button cap (gr. 5)

I went all the way to Lowes today to get new longer fender bolts. I'm making my own saddle bag mounts.When I got there I realized that I forgot to bring a bolt with me to get the right size. The first thing I did was went on the forum. Low and behold, this thread was here. Helped me out greatly. Thanks guys.

 

That bolt size seems very common throughout the bike. Might as well pick up a couple extra, for the toolbox. Not like they're expensive.
