Great replies so far. From what intel I have gathered so far, my suggestion is going to be to go with 8" pullback risers and at least a 32 inch wide bar with a decent amount of pullback. The amount of info on this site is just amazing. Thanks for the help so far. Please keep the pics coming.

looks good. really like the tank a different color. those gator boots. did you get the kind that has a slice in the back or did you have to disassemble the front end to slide those on?
My 2011 FXDC with the street slammers in my sig pic. The turn signals did hit the gas cap and had to be relocated which I was doing anyhow. Had to get longer throttle cables but that was it.

I got these Jammer fork boots from Custom Chrome for $36. Actually I just ordered them through the HD dealer and picked them up there. part # 632800 for 49mm and short because I lowered my front. They do have them with the split also so you do not have to remove the front end. You will see them in the pic below.
