that's ok, **** happens and is mostly fixable.

You can try the forums to see if you find some tank sets. Craigslist is good place to search too along with ebay.

looks to me like the tins need to be pulled get the dent fixed in the tank, and send in the tank and fenders to joe for powder coat

Old school trick. If the metal isn't kinked too badly, get some tongs and a piece of dry ice and put it on the dent. It's -108 degrees Fahrenheit. It's the opposite of heating up a nut to loosen it. It makes the metal shrink slightly and sometimes the dent will pop right out. Might be worth a try.

+1 on the dry ice... Had a Shadow that I hit some loose gravel and the layed the bike over. The only damage was where my knee dented the tank. Used the Dryice to pop the dent out

Man that sucks scl181, I feel your pain.

I got just a small dent hardly noticable, but my eye goes straight to it because I know it's there.

I think I have a good candidate for the dry ice trick, I'll give it a shot.
