Does anybody know if a Harley air cleaner cover will fit an Aren Ness air cleaner? I'm looking at part # 29417-04 or 27939-08-it's for an '11 Superglide-thanks for any help

I would like to know too!....thinking of doing this myself.
Some cutted a pan ( the thing to cook) and it looks good.
I took a grinder disk painted it.
And you can still use the old one with a plastic shim that comes with it.
it does fit boyz, just one bolt in the center. But the cover is so heavy that the air cleaner's metal part just ripped open on mine.had it welded but now have a spare filter as well.that's why I cut out the center of the hd air cleaner cover. have a look at my sig pic. there are detailed instructons on haow to do this in the under 50$ thread, it is a post by mudpuddle.

I have already done it to the weird one from my '08, traced a line with the filter and cut it out with a dremel! it is important to have the bolt in place when you trace the line that way you end up with a perfect fit, don't ask how i know that! Oh! and there will be a space left between the cover and filter, I fill that with a strip of weather stripping, the stuff you insulate drafty doors with.

I've just had a look at the '12 bikes and the filter cover has one big bolt in the center, your only gonna use the chrome piece my friend. The black plastic back plate goes on your shelf. You wouldn't want to add a free flow a/c and then constrict it in a box.
hey jerry,
The harley ones work but you need the starfish adapter that attaches to the filter (one hole) and the starfish adapter has the 5 holes to bolt on your harley cover. Look at the pics in my gallery to see how it looks when its done. Since the cover was given to me (already had the adapter on it) I'm not sure if it comes with their covers or you have to buy it seperately. If your at the harley dealership have them open one up for you or see if they sell it. It's very popular.
