The Super Glide will have more chrome. The Wide Glide will have more rake. Other than that they are basically the same bike with a few cosmetic differences. I think the WG sits a little lower than the Super.
Also, the Super Glide will be more agile, while the
WG will be more stable on the highway.
I have a 2006 FXDi35 and am trying to decide if I want to rake it with a WG conversion kit, or just buy a WG. I know a dealer who has a new 2010 for sale that I think I can get at a great price.
If I go with the WG, I will have to sell my Super Glide.

this will show Im ignorant......... does the rake come from the frame? how does one change rake? what would be in a rake conversion kit?
I guess one could get longer front forks and send the whole setup into an incline, but that does not seem right.
