Default compatible seats?

I'm looking at a great deal on a Corbin seat that was made for a 2010 wideglide. The problem is, I have a 2007 superglide custom. Some have said that any 06-present seat will fit. Others have said that 2010 wideglide seats are a bit different. Anyone know if this seat will work on my ride?

I think seats are compatible 2006 - 2010. You can check the online catalogue at Harleydavidson.com.

I have a 2011 catalog at home....it states 2006-present on all seats. Does anyone know for sure about proper fitment?

Just go to Corbin's website and check the fitment.

Interesting enough, Corbin has a different number for 2010 WG's than prior years. Mustang and HD stock seats all have the same model numbers for all 06-later dyna's. I'm waiting to hear a forum member tell me that the 2 are interchangeable and they have tried it on their own dynas.

I gotta say that I'm disappointed that more people have not responded to this thread. Hasn't anyone else tried to fit different years dyna seats?

You've been told by three people in two threads that it should fit with no problems.

You know what Harley says regarding seat fitment. If you still question what Corbin state why not email them directly?

Thanks Fridge but my question was not answered with any fact. Nobody has told me for sure about the fitment. I have both called and emailed Corbin and they have not replied to email but have told me on the phone, " There is no guarantee of seat fitment if it is not for the exact bike it was designed for"....not really an answer in my opinion.

All seats made by Harley and mustang have a generalized statement of fits 06-later dynas. None have specified the wideglide fitting differently. Corbins website has a different model number for 2010-later wideglides....that's why I'm posting my question.

Will a Corbin classic solo made for a 2010 wg #HD-FXDWG-10-S fit on a 2007 FXDC?
