Thinking about a short sissy bar for the Bob..to keep my wife from sliding off the back..again...rigid mount, not quick-detach...easy enough to do myself? Won't have to relocate the turns...seems it would be pretty simple? Really like the looks without, but hey,ya gotta make a few sacrifices,i guess. Also..anyone used Mobil1 75/90 synthetic gear lube in their tranny?Thoughts?

I use the mobil1 75/90 in my tranny and it's a whole lot better the the synthetic oil from HD, Smother shifts and better for the tranny! I have the mini backrest on mine but it's the detachable and it's perfect to hold the old ladies butt on .... Here's a pic of the bike....... not the old lady!
Its not in the pic but I put on a solid mount mid low sissy bar on mine in black. You don't have to relocate the turn signals but you do have do take them off but no biggy, I did it can't be too hard. The other thing is the adhesive from the reflectors. Had to soak with WD40 about 1/2 hr and scraped it off with my fingernail as not to scratch the pain. It doesn't want to come off very easy.
