Default Boom audio test fit

Well i decided to do a test fit of the Boom audio on my Dyna, i don't like the mickey mouse ears set up when mounted near the bar clamp so i installed them near the controls, firstly so i can hear them better and keep the bar clamp area clean, i got the black set to help conceal them. They are not fully installed yet as it is still very cold where i live. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics

be honest and let me know what you guys think

you tell us how they sound when they are done. i want tunes but also hate the mickey mouse ears. not to mention the price of those things. i have tried other speakers but so far nothing sounds good when crusing. there is only so much clean sound that can come out of 3" speakers. they dont look bad up there. probaly sound will be better as well.

When i am finished the install i will post the sound results, i got these cheap and they are 3.5 inch speakers with 40 watts RMS power, did sound loud at my local HD store, hoping the higher mounting will make them louder at highway speeds, i also have a windshield that might help.

Doesn't look too bad. I am not fond of that much stuff on the bars either, but considering a fairing to install some speakers into.

It's one thing they sounded good in a store than when they are outside with the bike running with Vance and Hines big shots at 50-60 mph. I just missed on a used set of these on eBay.
