Default Jim's Spacers or Pullback risers on FXDF?

I want the bars closers to me for comfort, but I am not sure which way to go. I have seen good reviews on the 2" riser spacers from Jim and they are only $50 (I like the black too).
The HD 6" Curved Pullback risers (#56267-09) look like what I need, but they are chrome and $150.
Not sure which way to go. Spend more and probably be happy, or try to go the cheaper route and hope to not waste $50
Anybody get the spacers and regret it?

I put the spacers on trying to get the bars closer. It does make a slight difference, but not as much as I hoped.

If I could do it over, I would have just bought some black 6" pullbacks.

I think LA Choppers sells some black ones.

I was thinking about going with the 2" Jim's spacers as well...BUT....I installed a 2" tank lift kit and one of the throttle cables was hitting the tank. I used a Ty-Wrap to hold it to the other cable. I'm worried that if I lift my bars another 2", I'll be back to hitting the tank.
