Some of the pegs are grippier than others, but they all have the ability to be adjusted. Should never have to lift foot off peg for shifting or braking.
I have mine adjusted so the swivel with my foot as I move my foot for up or down shifting and braking. But they don't move if I don't want them to.
Of course they can be adjusted to also be fixed in place or to spin freely.
There is also an second adjustment for lateral angle...so if you you want to do some serious canyon carving you can increase your lean angle way above stock before scraping.
Here is a video showing some of the styles on different bikes-
I love the DK Custom pegs. I have mine fixed and have no problem with shifting or braking. I just set them at the right angle for me.
I have two different sets of mirrors in the 3 pictures. I am sticking with the oval ones. Can't remember where I ordered them from- just had a certain style I wanted. Probably JP.
At first I had the Wide Glide seat but I love the La Pera and the lines it gives the bike with that fender.
Performance- I added the 510 cams, screaming eagle race tuner (sert) and of course the Thunderhead exhaust and Roland Sands filter. It gave me DYNO numbers I'm happy with so I will probably leave it for now.
All I want now is to add some different rims/wheels.
