Geez WTF.. I have no experience with the Fuelpac but this is exactly what keeps my from buying one. Let us know what happens with it or if you get something else.
Running a Fuelpack on my 2007 FXDC for the last 25,000 miles. Runs great. How much of an inconvenience can it be to call V&H tech support Monday-Friday?
I have a FuelPak on my 07 FXDB 96 with stage 1, no issues at all. I had a question and emailed them and got a response the next day. I was not in a rush though. They have been great to deal with, FuelPak was easy to install and set up. Beats the hell out of the cost of the Harley Tuner for convenience!

What is the difference between the fuelpak and the screamin eagle tuner as far as tunability. Can you change the mapping on the Harley tuner after it has been set to run a certain tune?
I have owned the FuelPak for 2 years and just recently switched to the PowerVision.
Contrary to what others may say, the FuelPak does work...... on a Stage 1 bike. If you plan to leave your bike Stage 1 for the foreseeable future, the FuelPak will work for you. I never had an issue with my FuelPak. You can check the website anytime and VH updates the website. I know my map values changed 4 times since I owned it.
With all that said, if you have any aspirations of building your motor or going anything beyond Stage 1, go with the PowerVision and do yourself a favor and buy it from FuelMoto. I plan on going 107" next winter but I had a decent bonus from work this year so I splurged on the PowerVision to use it for this riding season. Let me tell you now, it is absolutely amazing and it deserves its own post for all the things it can do and all the things YOU can do with it. It is a flash-tuner and not a piggyback deal like the Fuelpak or PC5. Worth every penny!!!
