Helmet with drop down visor
Goggles and a 1/2 or 3/4 helmet is the way to go (for around town riding).

Take a look at this.
I have one, and it works pritty good. Use a dark tint most of the time, and carry a clear for night riding. (You can change them out in just a few seconds.
Hope this helps,
Best wishes....Tim(HT)

I recently bought a version of that scorpion x-100 for my wife and she loves it. No wind problems at all and that's with wearing her clear prescription glasses underneath. She could hear me talking without yelling, fits great and a winner. Very nice looking too.
I'll probably get one for myself after I try it on and if it fits ok. For a modestly priced helmet, it is a good one. I will be selling my harley half that I got with my bike when I do.
Before I do that though, I'm on a quest for a FF modular and am leaning towards a nolan.
I have the Scorpion EXO100 and its a good lid... Its light and vents good on a hot day. The visor cuts down on the bright sun even more with sunglasses on, and the visor has no issues with the wind or in the line of sight.
As a contact lens wearer, its a perfect lid to minimize wind turbulence with my riding glasses.

I have a GMax that's really similar and I like it a lot. I can't remember the model number, but you might want to look into it. It doesn't have a visor and comes with a clear visor, which I swapped out for the dark tinted one.
X2 on the hjc is2. It caught less wind with the visor down than with it hidden. Or the wind pushed the helmet onto my head with the visir down.

I have the same scorpion that is listed above and love it. I do also wear sunglasses with the visor but the visor is nice when the sun is really bright as you can cut the glare out real good. If you go with scorpion, but the next size up because they run small
