Chrome oe wheels, chrome pulley cover is under $50 if I.remember. new stainless rotor for the rear for $100 or so, or polish the stock rotor until your next tire change so you can pick a pulley and rotor.
Not much you can do on the front so that's easy. Not a fan of the reapers on any bike, just my opinion though
So I had a previous post about sliders. I am also planning to do a chrome wheel upgrade. I have attached two images of my possible choices. One set is the factory chrome OE wheel that have been chrome plated. The other set is the HD Reaper wheels.
The chrome OEs are $745.00 exchange with new bearings.
The HD Reapers are $1474.00 no exchange. If you add the options for a matching Reaper chrome sprocket and rotor the HD setup goes to $2276.00.
Keep in mind I am being quoted about $300.00 in addition for labor at both HD and an independent for the swap.
What would you do?
The chrome switchblade wheels look much better on a Dyna IMO. If I had the $ I would have installed these on my bike from the beginning, but I like my chrome spokes too. Reapers look good too, but not as good as the Switchblades.
I would go with chrome OE. I'm not really a fan of HD's "custom" wheels. If I was gonna drop some cash for custom wheels I'd go aftermarket so I could get different sizes.
Tony, you know which wheel I like. You don't need the matching rotors, the ones that came with the bike will work just fine. If you get the chrome OE wheel how different is yor bike going to look?

If your thinking about dropping over $2200 on wheels, look to the aftermarket. Seriously the last thing you wanna do is spend that kinda cash on Harley wheels only to pull into the dealer and see 4-5 other bikes sporting the same rims.
