We all know no bike is perfect as it comes off the floor. I've narrowed my next purchase down to 2 bikes, one is the Fat Bob (the other is the Slim, posted a couple questions on softail page). The only problem is that I do not like the bob rear fender. Seems like a swap to the WG rear fender would be fairly easy but then I'd need to change out the rear tail/brake light set-up as well as the plate mount. That will run into a few pennies.
Are there other options I should consider from those that have changed out fenders? If I go with the FXDF I'll also go with the Bassani Road Rage short 2-1 exhaust & an improved a/c along with the appropriate remap.
