Linby Multibar Engine Guard for the Switchback (HELP!)
I just bought this and was trying to install it yesterday. I can't unscrew the bolts under the floorboards and I don't want to strip them or break them. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
It's a TORX BUTTON HEAD SCREW, .375-16X1.
Probably the screw has been fastened using white loctite.
Some forum members apply heat to the screw head with a mini torch to break the loctite's adhesive power.

I fitted a Linby Multi Bar to Switchback last week with no probs ..... the bolts were a bit tight but i wa sable to remove and the Linby Multi Bar looks great!!
You were lucky man. I used to be a mechanics so I have no trouble removing bolts. My hands still work haha. I can tell that if I pushed it I was going to either snap the head off the nut or wreck my socket. I just ordered the pen torch but like the idea of the soldering iron. I have one of those lying around. Great ideas guys. Harley probably would have charged me $100 to install it.

So this is really getting frustrating. I tried the soldering iron on the shifter side. Got 2 out but the other 2 won't budge on the rear. I got the front mount in place and started screwing them back in and the second screw would not got back in. I thought I was on the wrong angle but it just wouldn't go in. On top of that, as I was getting it out it broke my bit. Thank god for craftsman. I'm calling the dealer closer to me and ask them if they will just put the mounts on for me when the bike is being serviced. I am so pissed right now. Something as easy as unscrewing a bolt I can't even do. I blame the guy who put the bike together. There was so much locktite in there it was caked . I had to put the soldering iron in the hole to clean it out.
BTW does anyone know the exact bolt these are? I might have to replace them. Thanks guys.
