Whate a up guys! Ok so I'm new here & Im on my phone at work, I've looked through some threads but I'm looking for info on the fuel injectors for an '05 Dyna. I'm installing a Cobra Fi 2000 tuner and my front injector has a small crack in the plastic plug & now isn't running right. Like it lost compression but apparently it's not spraying fuel right, I unhooked the tuner and plug factory ones back in & it's running the same as with the tuner..... So I took the injectors out & swapped them and it made the rear cylinder run weak this time so it's definitely the injector. I guess what I need to know is, what's the white band mean around them? I found one on e-bay but it has a yellow band... Different fuel output? Also, anyone know the part number or know where to look for one other then the dealership? Any suggestions would help! Thanks!!!
Yellow band injectors flow 450cc/min @ 43.5 psi. I believe this is the highest flowing injector made at this time and probably way too much for your build. Black flow 335 and green flow 370.
The white band where the stock upgraded injectors for your bike. They flow 4.35g/sec IIRC. The brown band ones flow the same but they are the old style.
A new injector should be around 60 bucks so I wouldn't go messing with different ones, just replace the damaged one.
