I found that if you run a 170/60/17(mettzeler)the bike will handle even better!just one more thing,it will fit 03& up without any mods.

Do you have a part number for the kit you used? I ordered a deuce wheel for my 08 bob and the guy that made it said I need a spacer behind my bearing, but my old wheel didn't have a spacer behind the bearing. Just a sleeve that is kind of mushroomed on one end. Is that the spacer?

Here is what I used for my 2009 Lowrider. It should be the same for your 2008 Street Bob. The Wheel install kit comes with bearings, axle sleeve spacer, and a spacer that goes behind the rotor side bearing. And even better, clear instructions for each model of bike and year. I ordered all from Surdyke.
