i could care less about whats on SOA. dont get me wrong, i like the club style, but i want the fairing for deflecting wind off me more than for its looks. but i think im going to end up putting a set of west coast MX tbars on after the fairing. i love the mx bars.

i wasnt trying to sound like a dick. just my input. some people want their bikes to look like SOA bikes. i liked the look before that show even came out. the problem now is people see your bike like that and they think your trying to be like the boys on SOA. kinda sad really.
why is it sad. there is a style of bike shown on tv that people like. thats how the whole chopper craze came up. was it sad when someone was inspired by a chopper they saw on tv to build one? no, so why is it sad to see people like the 1/4 fairing look.
usually that look means blacked out, upgraded brakes, raised suspension, thin bars and good motor upgrades
ie, some wind protection, fast, stops quik, great lane splitter and great ground clearance.
what i meant was its sad that people's first impressions are your just trying to be like the soa crew. if they stop and ask why you did it, thats a whole other story.
i always hear it is hells angels style from frisco or ventura , but the first one i saw like that was a fxr in dallas in 85 but it was still a club bike
