I'm looking to change my speedo/tach gauge too. I've looked at the Harley line and aftermarket stuff, but it seems to be for every year other than my 2006 Lowrider.
Anyone know if that's true?

I'm looking to lose the idiot lights on my lowrider so I can change the risers. I changed out the bars last year to a drag bar and that looks great, but I need to increase the pull back on it. The idiot light bar needs to go, so I looked at what Harley had to change out the speedo gauge so it would bring down the idiot lights to the speedo gauge. Harley told me that there is nothing that they offer for that change for 2006 Dyna!! Anyone got any suggestions??? I don't want to lose the idiot lights permanently (in case of resale), just want them moved and I don't want to look like a cheapass job. I want it to look as good as it can...I can't believe that Harley doesn't offer that option for that year.

I also have to say Dakota Digital. Have one on my 2013 Iron and 2008 Superglide. Super easy setup. 1 beer and 15 minutes.

I believe someone on this forum did a thread on moving the lights between the speedo & tach. You might due a search or someone might chime in.

Dakota digital carries plug and play speedo/tach combos.
I have one on my 05 super glide. I love it. It will incorporate the gear indicator and fuel gauge.
This is the one I am using and it is indeed plug and play.
It says 3 3/8 inch but fits perfectly with the 4 inch speedo.
