When I put the Storm on the rear I put a Venom on the front. I was talking to an Avon rep and he recommended the Venom so I went with that. Real happy with both tires. That stock Dunlop is no match for the Avon.

Same set up here and really like the tires. I didn't know they made a Storm in front tire sizes.
Avon Storm II 190/50-17 on my rear and the Avon Venom 110-19 on my front on mine..A word of caution on the 50 series on the rear, it will throw your speedo off about 4-5 mph..Go with the 55 series if you want the speedo to read right..just my 2cents...
Quick update, ended up with the new Avon Cobra on the front wheel. Done close to 1000 km since it was on, most of those kms in the wet. Tire is performing real nice for the way I ride, ie occasional moments of cranking the throttle but mostly just chuggin' along enjoying myself
experience so far has been very positive, The only thing that might worry some is that it likes to follow road grooves a little more than the old dunlop, but not enough for me to be worried by it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tire.
