So Ive went from wanting VH big radius to Rinehart cross backs, then back to VH for cost reasons. Now I got a coworker who builds custom turbo kits for super bad *** cars. 203mph in 1/8 mile kinda badass. Hes got me interested.
My question is I dont care for straight thru super loud so do I put in baffle some how or something else to numb the sound a lil bit.
Want the clean chrome look as well so a second piece is made as heat sheild and then chrome that correct?

My brother in law made his own 2 into 1 pipe. Had to play around a little bit to keep it from popping on decel. He finally ended up making a backplate/baffle to stop the popping and reduce the noise a little. Also, helped his torque a little too. I must add that his bike is carbed also. U can do it, but just gotta be patient and adjust as u ride more and more.

If you wanna num the sound a lil bit, why not ask you frien who makes the badass turbo kits to give you advice on makin the sound less.
Hes never done a bike exhaust, all of his work is more header and just dump pipes from exhaust housing from turbo. He would just make it straight thru. I want it a bit quietter.

Just buy a set of baffles of most common size and make him build the pipe around it so you can switch whenever you want if the sound is not what you want. Fix it with 3 bolts and that's it ...
