The lights are part of the crash bar, and are kind of rectangle shape, not round. They were on the bike when I bought it. They are on all the time and also turn on when I turn my IGN switch to AUX position.
Funny story - my FLD was actually used with 250 miles on it. I bought it from the metric dealer that I bought my last 2 bikes from. They gave me fair money for my trade but didn't budge allot on my FLD.
They said the guy kept it for 2-3 months then never had time to ride so traded it in on something else - they sell boats, ATV's, etc.
Who knows? I wonder if he just didn't realize what a rubber mounted engine is supposed to be like. I like the HD vibration at idle and it is soooo smooth at highway speeds. If someone didn't understand the mechanics of why they design it that way they might think "this bike is too rough to ride". Just a guess.
btw I know this is the "All Dyna" section but I still don't get how to go to the FLD only section. the links just take me to the main page.
Yep, now that I followed the link from wyldspirit and I see that's the lights. http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
I also found out from the pdf install there that the little button on my left handlebar is a light switch -- I'll try it in a little while and see--maybe I can turn them off?
Pretty cool, don't know if I would have bought them but I am kind of used to them now, and it does give the cagers a bigger footprint to see me coming.
Bob, the more I see those chrome wheels on your bike, the more I like them.
Could you provide some more pics in different lighting? Very few pics out there of them other than the stock HD photos that don't do them justice.

Yep, "little button" I think is the same standard dealer install for those fog lamps that I also got. Gonna replace it with a better auxilliary switch if and when I go to the all chrome option for the handlebar switches, etc.
Actually before I ordered a Daddy Long Legs seat I cut the stock one back about 2 inches. It's only stapled onto a plastic frame.
I like the position so I bought the DLL.
Got the DDL today and although they say it won't make you higher, it does. The back 2" is just like my altered stock seat, but it raises me too high and I am way over the windshield. Also it's much more narrow than the stock seat, and just kind of cups your rear end, and very firm.
I'll be returning it with a 10% restock fee, what a drag.
I'll just use my cut down stock one for now, maybe have to go with custom fit.
I didn't buy the Harley one because it says it will "raise" you, but DDL says the opposite. But it does.
Hope this saves someone else this aggravation.
