chrome front rotor ride wright wheels

HI,

Need some advice, I have a chrome front floating rotor by ride wright wheels and would like to know if any body has one on there bike. The concern I have is what is chrome like for braking and the two pieces are held together by cer clips not prest together. The harley OME fells more firmer while the ride wright is more springy where the two parts are joined. The ride wrihgt is 8mm smaller in diameter. Any advice would be great.
