Default Chrome Primary Cover on New Wide Glide
Hi all,

I just rode home my new 2012 Wide Glide today and have a box full of parts waiting to be installed. Once of the parts is a new chrome primary cover to replace the wrinkle black one. Is there a certain time period or mile mark I should wait, or can I install it put in the new fluid and be all set? Thank you!

First scheduled maintenance is at 1000 miles. I'd just hold off till then if I was me.

I'm with craigffb on this. If your going to have H-D do your 1,000 check up let them put it on.

Yup, I'd wait too
No need to crack new gaskets and drain new fluid. That 1000 miles will fly by!
