Default Bobjob

So I bobbed my rear fender to the appropriate level. Here are the 3 views of it placed temporarily on the bike. Off to paint it on Wednesday.

You can notice the green tape and white paper. That is where the stock Tail light will be placed. All in all I took off approximatly 3 more pounds. More if I decide to not put the turn signals back on. The Liscence plate relocation is using the stock bracket. Cost=0$ just had to bend it a little.

Now it's time to add the 11" shocks for a real low down look. You could even mount the plate below the fender.

Oh yeah, you need the 11" rear shocks now. That'll finish off the look.

Good job!

Looks like you chopped it pretty much the same way I did.I wishI could have left more of the fender intact near the front.

I'm going a different route now so mine is for sale.

Yep I am gonna lower the rear a inch or so and do the same to the front.

That will probably take a little bit out of the cornering but it will lower the CoG too.

I am gonna have to stiffen it up in the rear though. As a buddy says "you ain't fat, your just a lot of man"

Mascman- Yah your chop inspired me to just do it. Now if that ******* at the paintshop would pull his head out. He wanted to charge me 600 bucks to paint it...LOL.

WOW, $600.00 for an easy job like that !?

I understand that these guys need to make a living, but that is outrageous!

Good Luck!
