I've got the 14" bars and to the top it's almost 16" I love my bars they are comfortable, and I ride my bike hard. I have sat on 07bobbers bike with the 12's and they feel more comfortable so if I could do it again I'd go with the 12's
Really appreciate the input guys....Looks like 12s it is. nexeradg made a great point about the extra height on the integrated riser but I already swapped out the top tree. I started out decided on 10s but they were just too low for me. Thanks again.

Good call- get what's right for you.
My standard was to sit upright most the time without looking like a gorilla f'ing a skateboard.
Got the bars installed between last night and tonight. Thanks to you guys weighing in I'm confident I made the right choice with the 12s. I actually ended up having more than enough excess wiring and cable length. I'm going to have to do something about shortening up the brake line and either shortening or running the clutch cable differently.
The bars are awesome....better than I expected. I rode with the stock apes for almost a year, and with two different sets of 14" apes for two years. As much as I like the look and feel of apes, T bars are the way to go, at least for me.
To anyone considering T bars, Scotty at Westcoast is the man. Dude met me in the middle of the night in the pouring rain so I could put my bike back together.
