So I finally upgraded my bars. Took about 6 hours with two guys. I went we ith 16" Carlini Evil Apes for narrow glide and 1" risers. I used Drag Specialties stainless braided cables from Dennis Kirk because they were open on Sunday. My cables were as close to plus 8 as I could get and I used a 90 degree banjo for the caliper and a 35 degree on the control. I moved my idiot lights to the dash between the gauges and temorarily removed my front turn signals. Had a hell of time filling/bleeding the brakes. All in all it went well, managed to get it out for an hour last night and am very happy with the feel. I am 6'2 and sit.about shoulder level. Heres some pics, excuse my dirty garage...and the bike needs a bath too!.
Looks good. 16 are some tall bars but if your 6'2" then they are right for you. What is the wingspan on those bars from grip end to grip end. They look like a wide reach.

I think its 34.5. I lined up my stock bars and was surprised how similar the pullback and dimensions were.
Looks awesome. Might get some shorter ones for myself.
The Carlini website is a little misleading on sizes. The only two available in the narrow glide are 10" and 16", I wanted 14" but they only came wide.
By the way, internaly wiring these bars was gravy! I took a piece of 50lb braided line off one of my fishing poles and put a split shot weight on the end and dropped it in. Then just electrical taped the wires to the string and pulled it through.
