(No t"this thread is worthless without pictures") Will get pictures and start another thread with all the juicy stuff.
My FXDB comes with the factory seat. Here I want to get a 2-up seat and obviously need passenger pegs too. I had the dealer put forward controls on the bike and I have the part number they used. If I get passenger pegs I want it to look like the same type of peg as forward control so I presume I can find this by looking up the HD part number.
I rather not buy the seat from HD...they are charging an arm and leg and after tying up thousands of dollars...why throw more money at them? Also I do not loke the looks of many oversize seats on bikes...seem to ruin the sleek bobber style. So post pics of your bike and let me see the seats you have.
As stated I will post pics and details of my bike. FYI its the 2012 Black Denim.
mustang seat! i believe i got the fastback tripper. not the day tripper though. its a little pricey but very comfortable. for me at least. not sure how comfortable the passenger seat is.
I went with a stock Fat Bob pull off seat from a forum member for $65 shipped. I'd say it is the best buy for the bike yet for the money. Nice back support, and enough for the wife to ride 80 miles or so.
It's it in my signature, and I also attached a photo.

I realize the sundowner looks bulky in most pics you see, but once your old lady's *** sits on it for a few miles, they won't want anything else... besides, you can always change back and forth to the solo seat when she's not riding...
