They also have a cataloge that says the same, but they still dont have them available. I was told they will have them in march. i would imagine the delay has bee that they didnt wnt to go the the trouble and make new seats and the have harley change the design again in 07, but now that the 07s are basically the same as the 06s they are going ahead with production. Just a thought. I wonder is there anybody here with a barebones on an older madel that can give some feed back. I am also thinking of getting them to put the biker gel in, anybody know about this also.

I agree here, the combination is usually vinyl on the sides.

Leather breaths. In other words on a hot day leather won't be kicking the heat directly backto your ***. Plus as leather wears it looks better.

Definitely leather. The only reason they use vinyl on the sides is because it doesn't wrinkle and it keeps the price lower. In a cage, it's just cheaper. No other benefit.

I've had both ,and will never go back to vinyl , doesn't breath , hotter , not as comfortable or durable
