Default Lightweight passenger peg mounts

The passenger peg mounts (not the pegs - the mounts) are bricks.

I wouldn't care as much except they sit on the swingarm. I have searched but not been able to find a lightweight version. Has anyone ever seen an aluminum version?

Edit: alternatively, some peg mounts that mount to the frame?

Thanks.

Your looking to trim a few pounds off a 750lb bike?

I'm assuming it's unsprung weight your trying to reduce, usually always a good thing, but not sure if the benefits would be worth it.

A quick web check didn't find any and having them made might be very spendy.

Allen, thanks for checking. Same results here, thought I'd ask in case I missed something.

MX - may do that.

Either remove them or leave them alone, drilling will weaken a part that someone puts their full weight on while mounting or dismounting and it is also an area where weight is a good thing as it dampens vibration (ever put your feet back there?) transmitted to your passengers feet.

The rear pegs have been off for a while. Passenger pegs should be mounted to the frame.
