That's cool. I used 3mm S.S. plate and shaped it around a 9KG gas bottle.
I like using S.S. metal because a little polish and looks like chrome. Counter sink the three mounting screws and weld to plate, works best. use a longer plate first because you can bent over gas bottle easier then cut the plate around the licence plate face plate and polish.
