I've gone back and forth with it but I've decided I don't want the batwing fairing and want to keep my 7" light. If I can't find someone to build a fairing for it then I'll just go without. If anybody knows anyone who would be willing to build a custom 1/4 fairing to fit that light and Tbars I'm all ears. Thanks!
I think they make a "ness type" fairing for a 7" headlight and if not there are companies that make that style fairing for metric.
BUT I will say if there was a way to make the OEM HD quarter faring work or your bike it would be the way to go. I tried the ness. It looks great but does very little. The OEM fairing is great and if I ever find the company that was making the FXDXT replica fairings that will be my next change.

That is the place, but its not shown on their website.
Nice. So far I've put in an email to a few different makers asking if they'd be interested in building a quarter fairing to fit that 7" light and bars, if they don't make one already. Anyway, I have some time. This isn't going to be until next spring at the earliest. Thanks again for your feedback, everyone! Keep the input coming!

Any word as far as getting a 1/4 fairing for the 7" headlight? I'm thinking about getting one myself, but I'm in the same boat as you, as far as finding one that fits my 7" lamp bucket.
Pretty sure Rifle has some other fairings that will fit a 7" head light but they don't make brackets that will fit a Dyna for them since Dynas come with a 5".Have you considered a small windshield? Memphis Shades "Fats" windshields have the 7" hole.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I have a smaller SlipStream that fits with my light, but I'm looking for a more low profile alternative to the bedroll that I keep on there now. All the windshields that I've seen are too bulky and take away from the whole aesthetic of a Dyna. I guess the quest continues.
Thanks again and any other suggestions would be great. I know there's gotta be others out there who've done this, I'm just curious how they did it.
That's not a horrible idea, but the thought of paying that much just to have to tear into it. But, then again, I'm used to doing that, I ride a Dyna! Haha!
