I don't have a picture of mine with me now but you can search some of my posts to find one. I use the small sport shield that HD sells for the Rocker. I blackes it out so it looks more like a fly screen than a windshield. It could easily be cut to fit a 7" light and is quick detachable. I commute 60 miles of interstate for work and it works great, no buffeting and the wind hits just the top of my helmet.
I got a few replies after I put out a few questions. The idea I'm leaning towards now is the Bob Dron, which is made for Road Kings. I'm sure it could fit the front end of a Fat Bob without too much headache. Anyone ever tried?
I have a 7.5 lamp on my scoot... i want to make a fairing like this so i can make it quick release to pop on and off for cold weather rips when i dont want to put on the full size fairing... i am going to mod a vintage rifle fairing pretty heavily to do this... here is what i am using
Have you looked at this one:
Its made for RoadKing and comes with the push on QD the RK uses so you would need to fab your own brackets. Bet it wouldn't be to hard to use the standard HD QD for the windshields. They sell those separately. Then just bent metal to attach it to them in the right spot...

I found an inexpensive NOS Emgo 1/4 fairing (couldn't pass up a killer $30 eBay deal) and I'm going to come up with a QD setup for it. If I get it to work out ok, I'll run that for a while to make sure I like it. I don't think I'll be spending 5-6 bennies on a fairing until I'm sure that I like running with one in more often than not. But I am definitely bookmarking their website for if and when I want one!
