Don't know if this will measure up, but since the point of this whole thing seems to be to get out and ride, I thought it was worth a late afternoon ride through the sunny high desert of Eastern Washington to find out. This is Gesa Stadium, home of the Tri-City Dust Devils, a farm team for the Rockies.
Should this pass muster then the next challenge is: your bike next to a marina.
I guess the final word is up to the issuer of this challenge, but I don't believe it meets the intent...major sports team/arena. By definition, that would rule out "minor" leagues. Nothing personal...I just don't concur.
Also...the picture link is broken and can't be seen.

Request ruling from the judges.
I saw the image... I say carry on and keep it going since FXD2003Rider met the challenge posted and has a new challenge... I'm no judge, but I'll gladly judge you all! ha!

Very well...I withdraw my request for judgement. Posting my pic from Petco Park anyway because it was such a gorgeous morning and a great ride. Although I guess the Padres standing as a major league team is also debatable.
Nice pics! Like I say, wasn't sure it met the criteria, but I wasn't going to let that stop me from riding out. My nearest major team is a three hour ride to Safeco Field in Seattle, and, hell, even people in Seattle won't go to that park Dust Devils have a nice park for a Single A team, though Pic is fixed now.

I too, don't think this qualifies... I have an Independent League Stadium 5 minutes from my house, the Lake Erie Crushers. I didn't go there because I didn't think it qualified. I was going to go downtown to Cleveland and get a picture of Browns Stadium but couldn't make it in time.
Maybe in the future someone will re-challenge this and it HAS to be a major league team...anyways, lets move on!
The intent is to get out for a ride and that has been achieved. But I set the sports arena/park challenge and I haven't heard of any of these teams or arenas. Yes I am Australian, but I work for a us company and visit USA 3-4 times a year. As an example, State or national level park/arena would be at the level of Colorado Rockies baseball team (coors field), Colorado avalanche ice hockey team, denver nuggets basketball team, Daytona raceway, etc. this might be the easiest way to classify the location: does the location host a major sporting event that is broadcast live across the country or world?
I am welcome to be corrected if any of the submissions already meet that criteria.

Squidhead's photo from PetCo park is where the San Diego Padres play ( Major League Baseball ).
Jesus, fellas, that's why I prefaced my photo with "I don't know if this passes muster." If it doesn't meet the criteria, fine, let Squid set the challenge, it certainly won't hurt my feelings. I just assumed the point of the game was to get out riding, so that's what I did. I'm in no way trying to 'win' anything, just wanted to ride.
