To clarify, an old man selling produce out of the back of his truck counts. It does not have to be an actual stand, just a vendor... I love stopping and talking to the old men selling peaches or tomatoes.

Mud, east and central Texas, lots of great riding. Panhandle, Gulf coast and west Texas, lots of straight roads. Texas is one big state. Beaumont (just east of me)to El Paso is farther than El Paso to Los Angeles. Houston to Amarillo is farther than Amarillo to Denver.

Takes all day to get out of the state if heading north or west...
