Not a SR-71 but an AC-130 Spectre Gunship. My personal favorite.
Next challenge: Your bike with lightening or an aircraft in flight in the back ground.
EDIT: Added an aircraft in flight as lightening may prove a little too hard to get the shot. An aircraft in flight could be taken near any airport. A helo would be even cooler.
Some info for those who see propellers in the image and doubt if the C-130 is a jet propelled plane: "The T56 is a turboprop, a jet engine that uses a propeller to produce most of its thrust. Because the T-56 compressor and turbine rotate at a high speed (13,820 rpm), a reduction gearbox is used to allow the propeller to turn at a much slower, more efficient speed. The production T-56 engine delivers approximately 4,000 horsepower to the propeller, while an additional 800 lbs. of thrust is produced by the jet exhaust. Its maximum operating altitude is 55,000 ft. The T56 turboprop, in continuous production since 1954, evolved from Allison's T-38 engine and was first flown in the nose of a B-17 test-bed aircraft in 1954. Originally designed to power the Lockheed C-130 Hercules, the T56 engine is installed in the P-3, C-130, and E-2/C-2 aircraft."
This pic is old and not for the challenge. I was coming back from the west coast on US 50 in Nevada when I thought "oh damn, whats that noise". My wife following behind took the picture.

The local military base here has the new JSF F-35 Lightning II that hovers. I want to try and get a pic of my bike with it in the back ground, but the weather here is bad and they aren't hovering and I don't have my bike. It would be cool to kinda meet the whole challenge being that the aircraft is called "lightning", it would be flying/hovering and its a jet. Getting the actual lightning in the back ground would be next to impossible because there is some rule about flying with lightning within a close distance, 10 miles I believe.
Ok, well it has been longer than that. So, the new challenge is your Dyna parked next to at least two different Harley models. Example: 1 Sportster and 1 touring bike. Or 1 Softail and 1 Vrod.
EDIT: bikes must be individually owned by different people. Dealer owned bikes don't count.

Does that include sitting in a Harley dealer's parking lot? I could pull up to the used bikes and get it done by 8:45 AM tomorrow....Doesn't sound right to me, though...dd50 tomp
