I took a ride out to corn and cotton country this afternoon and found what I was looking for.
These silos are surrounded by corn fields on all sides and for miles and are used for corn storage.
Found this combine down the road.
And this really cool antigue one row cotton stripper mounted on an old Farmall tractor.
If these are cool with the current challenge OP the next challenge is your Dyna next to a lucky 13 mile or kilometer marker. Extra points for being on the wrong side of the road like this one.
Nicely done. Maybe it will stop raining around here so I can get back into this game.
i hear ya. We're between hurricanes right now. I rained most of last week (Hurricane Norbert) and it's supposed to start again early this week because of Hurricane Odile. Out here we have take it when we can get it though.

Thought it never rained in AZ... That was interesting, that hurricaine thing in the Pacific. When we get one, cities are leveled. Ike was our last big one. Enjoy the rain, sir... tp

I've seen the aftermath on the MS coast after George and Katrina. The company I work for has interests all along the MS gulf coast and I went to help with restoration efforts after those two. Crazy stuff..
Good job, Kim!
Thanks for sharing the other images: they took me back to the 50's when some of those farmall tracktors with the narrow front axle wheel base were used in my area...
Highway N297 in Sittard, The Netherlands. Didn't realize it was there until a couple of days ago.
So up next, another history lesson (since I am drawing a complete blank for the next challenge): Today in 1866, The Reno brothers carried out the first Train Robbery in U.S. History. So how about Your Dyna with an armored Truck?
