Wow! You had snow back in October in Cali and yet here in Ohio, we have yet to see more than a flurry???

A lot of people from the midwest don't understand how much elevation affects temperatures and snowfall. I know I sure didn't until I moved from Michigan to CA. Snow is not uncommon out West in higher elevations.
