Wondering if anyone has seen a Dyna Super Glide with Flanders flattrackers on it, or come across a picture somewhere or other? I'm kind of leaning towards a pair of Flanders 1" on a 97 pretty stock otherwise. I'd like to see someone who's already done it
Does anyone have experience riding 8-10 hr days with the Flat Track bars on their bike? I'm curious about comfort over the long haul. I think a slight forward tilt to the back is a good thing but wonder about the flat track bars. Look great! How are they for the back on the long road? Jay
I've been riding with the Flanders TT/Flat Track - G5 (Black) for the last 1 1/2 years and really like them a lot! I've posted some pics of them on my bike from various angles. They're very comfortable and put me in a real good riding position.
Originally I ordered the H5, like Special Ed has, but for me it put my wrists in a real awkward uncomfortable position so I sent them back to Flanders and exchanged them for the G5.
If you do order from Flanders check the bars real carefully before installing to make certain they are symmetrical. I didn't and the bend angles on mine are slightly off.
Jay Risk, I've ridden them on long rides and found them to be perfectly comfortable. Lately though since I added a 2010 RG, I generally take that bike on the longer rides.
