Looks pretty damn good ...why the big gap between the grip and controls? Since you do not have the throttle housing ON the bars, could you not have shortened the bars a bit to close that gap on both sides?
The handlebars were the biggest PITA. I had to replace the stock bars because the inside diameter was non standard which meant the internal throttle wan't going to work. I wasn't ready to get new bars and really liked the ergos of the stock units. Anyway, long story short, I had to get replacements and these were the best I could come up with - it was holding the project up and I wanted to get it done. Now that it's back together and everything is working, I'll take my time to see if I can come up with a better set of handlebars that will work without leaving the gap.
I used Grip Ace for the switches - everything is accessible from the left hand grip.
8541hog, now that I think about it, I don't know that I can do much about the gap - the length of the levers play a role, plus I think were trying to accommodate for the switches - that's a big gap. I note on your bike you're using the mini switches - a different set up fro me...
