I appreciate all the help, I will get to work running through the tips/places to start looking. I will follow up on here when I get it figured out. Every thread with a similar problem, the fix was never posted.
There was a guy with very simular circums a few weeks back his ckps code was on in the dash, but I can't even find that post anymore to confirm.
I remove seat, the pc-v in sandwich bag and zip tied. No changes really, light spray down, scrub, light spray and blow dry. Hog snot quick detailed. I don't use full blast from the hose, half power I guess would be the description. I did notice that some moisture got in the pc-v bag when I removed the bag. I went out and turned the bike on and it showed no code, I am going to check some things tomorrow night starting at thoroughly running over the battery connection and drying all component again with a hair dryer. I wanted to get on it tonight but my wife's job called and offered double time pay. I opted to let her sit and dry off another day. I am going g to reprogram the map on the pc-v and drain the gas tomorrow, That's all I will get to tomorrow
I wouldn't be as worried about the PC unit as the actual connection from the PC to the ecu. I had the same problem, unplugged the large connector, dried it out, smooshed as much dielectric grease in as I could and haven't had any other problems.
I bet that this is your problem. There is a lot of stuff under the seat that doesn't need to get wet. I've never had any issues washing my bikes. And I wash them once or twice a week.

+1 I'm doubling down on his bet. Get that hair dryer out....
I am having same issue...codes tell me it's the system relay but it's replaced and i still have the problem.
I have a PCIII and removed it but still have the problem.
Took the coil and CKP from my brother's bike and tried those...still won't start.
I get intermittent power to the plugs...if it does fire, it will only idle for a couple seconds then die...I've replaced all my fuses and tried cleaning out the connections and put dielectric grease on them.
i think it may be in the rocker switch, but not sure...also afraid it may be ECM related but hard to test that.
I had the same problem (symtoms). It had both me and the dealer scratching our heads for weeks. We would take things apart, test, find nothing wrong, put everything back together, it would run fine for awhile then start cutting out. It turned out to be a bad pin connector to the system relay. Check all of your pin connectors.
I'm still trying to figure out why you would take off the seat to wash your bike. Now I admit that it's kind of dirty under my seat, but it's under the seat so why sweat it.
